C.I.D.

The Criminal Investigation Division, commonly referred to as C.I.D. is responsible for the collection and preservation of evidence, case investigation, prosecution, and testimony in criminal proceedings. CID officers are trained in document examination, homicide investigation, fingerprint identification, interview and interrogation, surveillence, sex crimes, and family violence to name a few. CID officers are also responsible for Narcotics interdiction and all investigations presented to the Littlefield Police Department.

Lieutenant Leo Ponce
Lt. Ponce has been a member of the Littlefield Police Department for 12 years. Lt Ponce has 12 Years Law Enforcement experience and holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License. Lt. Ponce is certified as a Homicide Investigator, Forensic Documents and Fingerprint Identification. Lt. Ponce is also cerified in the use of the ASP Tactical Baton, Oleoresin Capsium Spray, and the Less-Lethal Bean-bag Round. E-Mail Lt. Ponce at: lponce@door.net


Detective Reginald Holmes

Detective Reginald Holmes currently holds TCLEOSE certification as a Basic Peace Officer.  Det.Holmes has been in law enforcement for 2 years. Det. Holmes is trained in use of Oleoresin Capsium Spray, as well as deployment of the Taser. Det. Holmes has been with the department since November 2006.
